* side note, my new kiddo has some "boundary issues" {getting in peoples space}, has not yet learned how to solve small problems by herself {gotta love Kelso's Choices!}, and has set off my "special friend" who has here own issues by loudly declaring when special friend arrived late "Hey, your not in this class!!!!" *sigh* it's going to be a long week. . . . . . . . . .

  1. These are adorable...

I know that your "special friend" is not funny but really it is funny. I'm sorry for your long week but thanks for sharing :)

  3. I love it! its so awesome that your kids clearly did this project on their own. So often I see "kids work" hanging in classrooms that look like cookie cutter samples of the teachers example. Your class did a great work, and how lucky they are to be able to express themselves!

    1. One of things all kindergartners need to work on is fine motor skills, if I cut everything out, they won't build those muscles. We do a lot of tracing and cutting for projects, but this was me modeling and them cutting on their own.
